Practice for Child- and
Youth Psychology

B A L I - I N D O N E S I A

Wim J. Voorwalt

Many young people face problems that they feel they cannot share or talk about to anyone. Their parents usually feel helpless, as they don’t seem to have the answers to their questions. We are referring to psychological problems.

It may be a good idea to discuss these issues with someone who understands them and who can help the child as well as their parent; sooner rather than later, and preferably with quick, permanent results.

- Feeling down or depressed; lonely and afraid of
- Being hyperactive
- Having problems that may lead to difficult
situations at home or at school
- Finding it difficult to make friends
- Having behavioural problems or identity issues

Any of these may point to things going off track, and are serious reasons to seek help for a quick, effective and permanent result.
